What collectors ask before buying a first painting

You do not need to be an expert

Most people who write to us have never bought an original before. They worry about choosing wrongly, about the price, about whether a painting will look right at home. These are good questions, and we are happy to answer every one of them.

We can send a photograph of any work held up on a wall for scale, or create a simple mock-up using a picture of your own room. For larger pieces in Lisbon, we can bring the painting to you for a day before you decide.

Paying over time

Originals above €2,000 can be paid in up to six interest-free instalments. The painting is reserved in your name from the first payment and shipped when the last one clears.
